FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about training at Dynamic Athletics.

Getting Started

What happens during a free consultation?

We'll sit down, discuss your goals, assess your movement, and recommend the right program for you. It's a no-pressure conversation — we want to make sure we're a good fit for each other before you commit.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

Not at all. We train everyone from complete beginners to competitive athletes. Every program is customized to your current fitness level and progresses at your pace.

What should I wear / bring to my first session?

Comfortable athletic clothes and clean gym shoes. We provide everything else. Bring a water bottle if you'd like, but we have water available.

Training

How is this different from a regular gym membership?

At a regular gym, you get access to equipment. At Dynamic Athletics, you get a coach, a custom program, and accountability. Every session is designed for you, and every rep is coached. It's the difference between having a gym card and having a plan.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions follow a structured format: check-in, targeted warm-up, primary strength work, accessory exercises, and cooldown. The specifics depend on your program and where you are in your training cycle.

How often should I train?

Most clients see great results training 2–3 times per week. During your consultation, we'll recommend a frequency based on your goals, schedule, and recovery capacity.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Our High-Touch online coaching tier includes nutrition guidance. For in-person clients, we can provide general nutrition recommendations as part of your program. We're not registered dietitians, but we can help you build sustainable habits.

Membership & Billing

Are there long-term contracts?

No. All memberships are month-to-month. We ask for 30 days notice to cancel as a courtesy, but there's no penalty or cancellation fee.

What if I need to miss a session?

We understand life gets busy. Just give us 24 hours notice and we'll reschedule your session. No-shows without notice may count as a used session.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. We offer holds for vacations, injuries, or busy periods. Just let us know and we'll pause your billing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed monthly on a recurring basis.

Youth & Team Training

What ages do you work with?

Our youth program is designed for athletes aged 10–18. All exercises are age-appropriate and focused on building a strong athletic foundation.

Can you train my whole team?

Yes. We offer custom team training packages for both in-season and off-season. Contact us for a custom quote based on your team size and schedule.

Do parents need to be present during youth sessions?

Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but it's not required. We'll communicate directly with parents about progress and any concerns.
